Scope and Contents From the Record Group: This collection consists John McCutchan's chemistry notebook, certificates he received while a student at Washington College, now Washington and Lee University, and a certificate acknowledging his election into the Alumni Association. The notebook documents notes he took while a student in J. L. Campbell's class for the 1868-1869 academic year.
