This collection consists of the archives of Lexington, Virginia's freemasonry organization, the Mountain City Lodge, No. 67 founded in 1857. The archive inludes early petitions for membership from the fraternal organization's founding era, management and financial records, membership records, a nearly complete run of the annually published bound volumes titled, "Proceedings of the Grand Lodge of Virginia" between the late 1850s thhrough the early 1900s.

This collection contains a contract between Lexington, Va.'s Mountain City Masonic Lodge and Washington and Lee University's Kappa Alpha fraternity to rent the lodge's banquet hall in the Tutwiler Building for a period of nine months. The contract is signed by W. Z. Johnstone and J. T. Wilson.The colleciton also contains an undated booklet titled "Bylaws of Mountain City Lodge, No. 67."

Nathaniel Huntoon Account Book
The account and barter book contains handwriting samples and aphorisms. Account notations are in British currency. Rum and molasses are the predominant products listed. It also includes a poem on the American Revolutionary War effort of New Hampshire's soldiers by William Proctor. The poem includes a mention of General George Washington.
