This broadside titled 'Home School for Young Boys, Grace Church Rectory, Lexington, Va.' by Reverend William Nelson Pendleton and Mrs. General Edwin G. Lee, who was his widowed daughter, provides information about the upcoming semester at their school.
Horace Whaley Phillips Scrapbook
A scrapbook compiled by Washington and Lee University student Horace Whaley Phillips, of Suffolk, Virginia (WLU class of 1908)during his studetn years. It is made from a 1902 Mary Baldwin College yearbook, "The Blue Stocking," and includes pasted in photographs, newspaper clippings, school and Lexington, Va. related ephemera, and more. Further subjects include, Stonewall Brigade Band, C&O Railroad, W&L President George H. Denny, athletics, W&L student body.

The two other images are duplicate contemporary 8x10 black and white photos of House Mountain printed from the original negative made by photographer Michael Miley, c. 1885 - 1900.

Ignorance Club Collection
This collection contains the Ignorance Club's programs for years 1909-1910, 1934-1935, 1935-1936, 1936-1937, 1941-42, which contain officer lists, membership lists, lists of club rules, and schedules of the year's meetings and member presentations. It also includes what is believed to be the first paper written by a society member for presentation at a meeting, which was R. F. Anderson on March 13, 1908.
Industrial Workers of the World Records
Membership card and sleeve for Demetrius Paleone (sp?), who we believe was a Load Foreman for the Transportation Department. The book is inscribed with the Industrial Union No.8, Brooklyn Branch No.1, Oct. 16, 1919. The envelope is stamped with the Marine Transport Workers emblem and the date Sept 30, 1919.

Isaac Newton Campbell Notebook
Isaac Newton Campbell kept this notebook while a student at Washington and Lee University and at Campbell's Divinity School. It consists primarily of his notes on Greek grammar from Professor James Jones White's class at Washington and Lee and notes on biblical history from T.E. Peck's classes at divinity school. Includes a poem about Professor White.

This collection consists of Washington College student J. Henry Smith's addresses to the college's "John Marshall Society" on Sept. 24, 1841; "Total Abstinence Society" on Sept. 23, 1842; a speech on "Patriotism" in celebration of George Washington's birthday as a representative of the "Rockbridge Union Volunteers" in 1842; and a speech on "Moral Education" given on Commencement Day, 1842.
