This collection contains : a printed pamphlet entitled "The Peoples National Bank of Lexington, Virginia: Statement of Condition, July 1, 1911"; a 1937 photograph of two African-american men, one with a jack hammer, demolishing a section of the Peoples National Bank which was originally located in Lexington's "Tutwiler Building"; and a ten dollar national currency note printed by the United States Federal Reserve for the Peoples Bank of Lexington and with its name included on the bill.
