This collection contains the Ignorance Club's programs for years 1909-1910, 1934-1935, 1935-1936, 1936-1937, 1941-42, which contain officer lists, membership lists, lists of club rules, and schedules of the year's meetings and member presentations. It also includes what is believed to be the first paper written by a society member for presentation at a meeting, which was R. F. Anderson on March 13, 1908.

Scope and Contents
This collection includes an edited typescript titled "Notes on Arnold's Valley" by Washington and Lee University faculty member Miles Poindexter. Poindexter read this paper to the Rockbridge Historical Society (RHS) at their quarterly meeting on October 27, 1941. This is noted in Volume Two of the "Proceedings of the Rockbridge Historical Society." Also included in this collection are two drafts of a paper written for Lexington, Virginia's Ignorance Club on the history of the Arnold Family...
